Many of us use Spotify for our music, but did you know that Spotify now has audiobooks? If you are a Premium member, you have access to all genres - a few you have to buy, but most are free. Some examples of these books are: Composers: Their Lives and Works, The Classical Music Book, and Ludwig von Beethoven: Biography, Facts, Quotes and Symphonies. A great way to expand your Classical Music Library!

 

CFMTA is having a “Connecting Canada” virtual Professional Development event on July 5th and 6th. The $39 fee gives you access to 15 speakers/sessions, which feature pedagogues and speakers from across Canada and the world. The videos are also available for 60 days after the event. Connecting Canada 2024 explores the creative ways that we can reinforce the fundamentals of technique and musicianship while encouraging healthy performance skills and a love for music.
