A “Special Teacher Award” was presented to Anita by the ORMTA in 2010. She received the Performer’s Diploma (LRSM, LTCL) from the British Royal Schools of Music, and the Trinity College of Music of United Kingdom. In Hong Kong, she owned a piano company. In Vancouver, she received scholarship for further training in music. In Toronto, she continues her teaching career in her piano studio. Her students have won honours in examinations (including Silver Medal) scholarships and numerous prizes in competitions such as ORMTA Awards Festival, Kiwanis Music Festival, Markham Music Festival, Music Scarborough, All TV Music Festival and Peel Music Festival. During her 30 years of teaching, Anita can provide effectual results through vivid guidance, inspiring the fullest capability of her students. She encourages parents to accompany their children’s musical journey by monitoring their practices, enjoying music together. She believes that the efforts and the merriment through playing piano are certainly beneficial for a lifetime.
