This year’s CMW Music Writing Competition was a huge success! Teachers from branches all across the province submitted their students. With 71 entries in seven different classes, the popularity of this competition in music creativity continues to grow. The ORMTA would like to thank Nancy Telfer for her insightful and thorough adjudications and Eleanor Marzetti for her gracious donation for student scholarships. Thanks also go out to the teachers for submitting the work of their students. And most importantly, congratulations to all the budding “Anne Crosby’s” and “Linda Niamath’s” for pouring their creative juices into their submissions.
If you would like your students to be part of this exciting musical experience, please keep your eyes open for the Winter 2010 edition of Notes or this web page for information on next year’s competition.
If you have any questions, please contact the CMW convener: Frank Horvat
