ORMTA Pedagogy Award
This award is presented annually to a student studying pedagogy with an ORMTA member in good standing, who receives the highest mark in Ontario in the written portion of their Associate pedagogy examination by one of the following conservatories: Canadian National Conservatory of Music, Conservatory Canada or the Royal Conservatory of Music. Marks must be 80% or higher.
ORMTA members need not apply for this award on behalf of their students. ORMTA's Pedagogy Award Convener will contact the three conservatories directly requesting successful results. If your student is the recipient of this award, the Convener will contact you.
If successful, the student will receive a cash prize, certificate, feature in NOTES Magazine, and an invitation to ORMTA's Annual Awards Luncheon.
